The match against Valladolid marked Depor's change of form, leaving the team in shock as their most creative player was forced out with a serious injury. The Canarian midfielder has not regained physical fitness and form since then, plagued by that same injury. Pena on the other hand, found himself facing a lot of criticism coming from other players, fans and even the press. On Saturday, Depor will meet Valladolid again, but this time without Valeron and Pena in the starting line-up. Valeron will probably enter the pitch as a substitute, as for Pena, who is not in the starting line-up anymore, participation is doubtful. The Bolivian defender commented "I have read that Valeron is on the verge of entering the pitch and I would have liked it to happen sooner, although neither he nor I know very clearly if we'll play on Saturday." He admitted " that it was an unnecessary entrance, but there was no intention to damage him. I felt very happy when I heard of his return, because players of his quality are needed in football. " But Pena has other problems now, since he lost his place in starting line-up: "It is very hard to keep your starting place right now, anyone could lose it.
