SOME NUMBERS ABOUT THE FIRST LIGA HALF Deportivo have ended the first half of the Spanish Liga with 37 points, the same number that the squad achieved at this phase in the seasons 1999/2000 and 2000/2001. This also is the highest score that Deportivo have ever reached at this moment of the competition since the introduction of three-points-per-win in 1995. In 2000 it ended up in Deportivo winning the Liga while one year later Deportivo conquered the second place. ＊[03/04 first liga half 37 point] The results so far have been eleven victories of which seven were at home and four in away matches. There were home wins against Bilbao, Albacete, Atletico, Valencia, Malaga, Real Sociead and Espanyol while away matches were won at Zaragoza, Sevilla, Barcelona and Celta. Deportivo achieved four draws, at home against Racing de Santander and away to Murcia, Valladolid and Betis. The fifteen goals scored against Deportivo mean that only Valencia are doing better in this aspect, with 14 goals.
