Deportivo continues to chase for the players that will configure the team
in the year of the centenario. The new names related to the Galicians
are Cani and Nano, an offensive midfielder and a central defender that
are showing interesting skills in la liga. Depor's official have an eye on
them and the club could negotiate for their services at the end of the
present season.

Another player that's calling the attention of Depor's officials is
Victoriano Rivas 'Nano' (25), the central defender has participated in 28 of
the 29 games played by Getafe on the present campaign. With 2,520 minutes on
the pitch he's the second highest player with the most minutes on the pitch
in la liga excluding the numbers of the goalkeepers (Fernando Torres is the
first on the list with 2,606 minutes.)
The best characteristics of Nano are his velocity and his good skills to play
the ball in the defensive sector, he is also good in the aerial game and has
even scored three goals in la liga. His buy out clause is of €3 million and
the good news is that Getafe's president said recently that the club wouldn't
put up any obstacles if an interesting offer arrives on the desk.
Coach Quique Flores said some days ago that Nano is a good player that has a
promising future in la liga: "He is an example of responsibility, performance
and illusion. Nano is a player that is taking advantage of his debut in la
liga, that illusion is the reason why he’s playing at a good level. We are
satisfied with his roll and I hope to see him progressing because he deserves
it."
