Betis president confirms Depor offer for Assuncao

Real Betis president Manuel Ruiz de Lopera has confirmed Deportivo La
Coruna's interest in star midfielder Marcos Assuncao.
"Offers have arrived, but not only for Marcos Assuncao, but also for three
more players," he said. "We are considering what has been put on the table,
but I believe that Assuncao prefers Betis to Deportivo.
"Betis is very happy with Assuncao, a player who cost us a lot of money."
