Deportivo La Coruna are reported to have made an enquiry for Sporting Lisbon
striker Liedson.
The Brazilian notched 25 goals in an impressive campaign for Sporting last
term who reached the Uefa Cup final.
His form is already known to have attracted interest from Italy, with his
agent Gilmar Veloz admitting recently he had an offer on the table from a
prestigious Serie A side, as well Corinthians.
Depor have now asked about the hit-man but are thought to have been put off
by Sporting's demands.
The Lisbon giants are understood to have quoted a fee in the region of €6.5
million to allow the player to move on.
Depor are looking to revamp their squad this summer following the departure
of coach Javier Irureta and are planning a host of new arrivals.
