小潘潘接近Zaragoza
PANDIANI IS NEAR TO ZARAGOZA

In the last hours it was known that Walter Pandiani is near to being
transferred to Real Zaragoza. The team coached by Victor Munoz has reached an
agreement for the transfer of David Villa to Valencia and now they want to
reinforce the squad with two top strikers. The names selected by the
officials are Walter Pandiani and Sergio Garcia.
The negotiations between Birmingham City and Deportivo are in a dead point
and Zaragoza could take advantage of it. The €12 million transfer of David
Villa to Valencia and the departures of Drulic and Javi Moreno will create a
real hole in the offensive sector of los Manos. In this sense the club's
officials have a list of two names in their hands: Sergio Garcia and Walter
Pandiani.
Zaragoza is negotiating with Barcelona about Sergio Garcia and it's expected
that they are ready to contact Depor in order to sign Pandiani. The latest
declarations of coach Caparros and the Sevillian striker Diego Tristan
demonstrates that the Uruguayan player wouldn't be welcome at Riazor. The
operation could be finished before July 1st, the date in which Pandiani is
expected to return to La Coruna.
Meanwhile, the Uruguayan striker is changing his statement and he admits that
he will love to return to Spain, as he declared last weekend: "The idea was
to stay in England, but the arrival of Zaragoza could change some things. I
want to demonstrate that I can fight for the pichichi trophy in Spain and if
I can do it with Zaragoza it will be better. I know that I will have to fight
for a place, but I will try to convince the coach and the officials. I don't
want to return to Deportivo and I hope that things would be solved during
this week."
