[訪問]Luque:沒錯，三個前鋒真的太多了
幾個星期前，Tristan表示他和Makaay不可能在待在同一支隊伍裡，過了不久，Makaay也表
示同意他的看法，主席Lendorio也表示有一個前鋒必須離開。現在，Luque也說出他自己對
這件事的看法。
Q: Do you know that Lendoiro has confirmed the words of Tristan?
A: It's logical, as Diego is right about what he said at that press conference.
Q: But Tristan only talked about himself and Makaay. Did this hurt you?
A: No, why should it? They have been fighting about the striker position at
Deportivo in the past three seasons, and that's why Diego spoke about Roy and
himself. Besides, he knows that I'll claim this place too if one of them will
leave.
Q: You agree that Deportivo have too many strikers?
A: Yes, having three strikers is too much.
Q: Why?
A: Three strikers with the qualities we have, and with a system which normally
uses only one striker, it's not good for anyone. The players will lose rhythm
and the club will see the players lose their value.
Q: Do you think Deportivo will sell Makaay?
A: That's not for me to talk about.
Q: And what will be the role of Luque next season?
A: Last summer I signed at a big club like Deportivo with the illusion to
triumph and to give joy to the supporters. And now I keep thinking the same.
Q: The supporters are already happy with you.
A: That's true, and I have no more words to thank them. From the start they
were behind me and they also helped me at bad moments.
Q: But are you satisfied with your first season at Deportivo?
A: It hasn't been a good season, because I didn't play the minutes I expected
to have. But when I came off the bench I did well.
Q: What was the reason for it?
A: Well, I was signed days before the new season started and so I wasn't
present at the pre-season with the rest of the squad. This means that the coach
didn't knew me, and I didn't knew my colleagues.
Q: Are you looking forward to demonstrate Irureta what you can do?
A: At this moment I want to enjoy my holiday because next season will be a long
one. But of course I want to start at the same manner as the other players.
Q: Do you follow what's going in the world of football during the summer
months?
A: I read some sportspapers several times per week and I talk to reporters once
in a while. But the mind of a player appreciates it to let go football for some
time.
Q: Did you congratulate the players of Mallorca for winning the Copa?
A: Yes, for this I always make time. I am very happy about them winning it.
