The Uruguayan keeper promises work and sacrifice, and states that he "won't
miss his chance."
Q. How did you feel in your first training session?
A. Very good. The mates have welcomed me very good, and to be honest I'm very
happy to belong to Depor.
Q. Are you glad you came?
A. Of course. It's a very nice challenge to come to Europe, and specially to
one of the strongest teams in the Spanish championship.
Q. Will Gustavo Munua only be the third keeper?
A. I'll try to take advantage of my chances in order to get into the starting
team. I come to work and train hard so I can match the level of the team.
Q. Are you confident you will stay many years in Depor?
A. I won't fail those who have trusted me. I'm sure that my chance will come
and I'm sure I'll be ready to face it.
Q. Which are your goals?
A. My objectives are to train and find a place in the squad, so I can give
everything in the pitch. I'm used to competence.
Q. Will you have any problems in playing for Uruguay while you still try to be
a regular in your club?
A. I think that my national team is the top for me, and it's very important for
me to play there. I don't think this necessarily has to influence anything else.
These are different things. One has to be ready to fight for a position; I
come to work.
