D-Backs 開季的五號先發決定由 Mike Gosling 以及 Brad Halsey 兩位來競爭
而今天的比賽正好是 Gosling 先發主投
面對到 White Sox 的開季打線 (除了中外野手由 Willie Harris 代替 Aaron Rowand)
Gosling 今天表現非常精彩
四局的投球中無失分，最後拿下這場比賽的勝利
接續的 Brian Bruney 以及 Shane Nance 也分別投了 2 局和 1.2 局無失分
讓這兩位年輕投手登錄 25-man roster 的機會增加了不少
打擊方面
Chad Tracy 和 Scott Hairston 分別擊出熱身賽的第一支全壘打
其中 Hairston 整場比賽共敲出三支安打
