The 2006 invitees include: LEFTHANDED PITCHERS: ‧Randy Choate, 30, appeared in eight games for the Diamondbacks last season, going 0-0 with a 9.00 ERA. He was outrighted to Triple-A Tucson on May 4 and pitched 47 times for the Sidewinders, posting a 1-1 record with a 3.38 ERA. ‧Terry Mulholland, 42, spent 2005 pitching for the Minnesota Twins, going 0-2 with a 4.27 ERA in 49 relief outings. Over his big league career, which spans parts of 19 seasons, he owns a 124-142 record and 4.40 ERA in 680 lifetime appearances, including 332 starts. Among active hurlers, Mulholland is tied for 12th in innings pitched, 19th in games, tied for 23rd in wins and 29th in strikeouts. ‧Bill Murphy, 24, pitched 23 times for Tucson last season, including 21 starts , and went 6-8 with a 5.65 ERA. He was acquired from the Los Angeles Dodgers in a July 31, 2004 trade. ‧Neal Musser, 25, spent the entire '05 season with Triple-A Norfolk in the New York Mets' chain, going 6-11 with a 5.02 ERA in 24 starts. RIGHTHANDED PITCHERS: ‧Casey Daigle, 24, spent the '05 season with Double-A Tennessee and took over the club's closer duties in mid-May. He collected 19 saves, which ranked third in the Southern League, while owning a 9-3 mark with a 2.67 ERA in 58 outings. Casey made 10 starts for the Diamondbacks during the 2004 campaign, going 2-3 with a 7.16 ERA. ‧Kevin Jarvis, 36, spent 2005 in the St. Louis Cardinals' organization, going 0-1 with a 13.50 ERA in 4 relief outings at the big-league level. He also went 11-6 with a 3.38 ERA in 26 games (25 starts) for Triple-A Memphis of the Pacif ic Coast League. Over his 11-year Major League career, Jarvis owns a 34-47 record and a 5.97 ERA in 178 lifetime appearances, including 114 starts. ‧Mike Koplove, 29, pitched 44 times for Arizona last year, raising his career total to 215 appearances, which ranks third on the franchise's all-time list. He was 2-1 with a 5.07 ERA with the Diamondbacks prior to his Aug. 17 outright to Tucson. Koplove appeared in nine games for the Sidewinders. CATCHERS: ‧Juan Brito, 26, batted .260 with six home runs and 31 RBIs in 72 contests with Tucson. ‧Matt Morgan, 24, appeared in 90 games for Tenessee, hitting .274 with three home runs and 35 RBIs. He played 59 games at catcher, 12 at third base, nine at first base and five at second base. INFIELDERS: ‧Brian Barden, 24, compiled a .307 batting average with Tucson, collecting 36 doubles, 15 homers, 85 RBIs and 14 stolen bases. He finished fourth in the Pacific Coast League with 159 hits. ‧Jerry Gil, 23, was limited by injuries to only 55 games with Tennessee. In those contests he hit .256 with 10 home runs and 29 RBIs. ‧Justin Upton, 18, was signed as the first overall selection in the 2005 First -Year Player Draft. He batted .519 during his senior season at Great Bridge High School in Chesapeake, VA. He also collected 11 home runs and 32 RBIs, while scoring 29 runs and stealing seven bases, all in only 54 official plate appearances. OUTFIELDERS: ‧Jarred Ball, 22, hit .253 for Tennessee last season, with 19 doubles, seven home runs, 34 RBIs and 39 stolen bases.
