OAKLAND -- The Diamondbacks scored two unearned runs in the top of the ninth inning to beat the A's, 3-1, on Sunday afternoon in front of 19,130 at McAfee Coliseum. 星期天下午，響尾蛇在九局上，靠著兩分的非自責分，以3-1擊敗了運動家，讓主場19,130 的球迷心碎離開.. Brandon Webb and Barry Zito were locked in a 1-1 pitchers' duel through the game's first eight innings. Webb 跟 Zito 的王牌對決，在前八局都是1:1的僵持局面 Chad Tracy led off the ninth by reaching on an error by Dan Johnson and moved to third when Conor Jackson followed with a double to left. 戰況來到九局，Chad Tracy先是靠Dan Johnson上到ㄧ壘，又藉著隊友Conor Jacksonㄧ支左外野的安打來到了三壘.. After a groundout by Luis Gonzalez, an intentional walk to Johnny Estrada loaded the bases. Shawn Green then drew a walk of his own to force in a run,and Orlando Hudson lifted a sacrifice fly to center to score Jackson and give Arizona the 3-1 lead. 而隨後Luis Gonzalez滾地出局，而故意保送接著上來的Johnny Estrada ，試著以滿壘來捉雙殺，可是Shawn Green精湛的選球再替隊上擠回一分，Orlando Hudson也以一個高飛犧牲打替球隊拿下了保險分，響尾蛇此時已經3-1領先 Webb (9-3) went the distance for the third time this year and snapped a six-start winless streak.
