[情報] Webb tries to clinch series for D-Backs
Right-hander Brandon Webb will be on the hunt for win No. 11 when he toes the
rubber on Thursday for the D-Backs in the series finale against the Dodgers.
今天先發的王牌投手-Webb將挑戰他的第11勝，也將幫自己的球隊來替這次的系列戰做個好
的結局。
If he walks away with the victory, his 11-3 mark would tie the Mets' Tom Glavine
for the best in the National League.
如果他能順利拿下這一勝，他11勝-3負的戰績將跟大都會的Tom Glavin，在國聯的投手排
行榜並列第一。
Webb, who is making a strong case to be a candidate for the National League
Cy Young award, ranks among the top two in baseball in innings pitched (146.1)
and ERA (2.52). Webb also ranks fifth in the National League in strikeouts with
113 and has won two out of his past three starts.
Webb是相當有機會來奪得今年國聯賽揚獎的一個候選人，因為他投球局數(146.1)跟防禦率
(2.52)都在國聯佔據領先，(馬小魚的J.J很像才2.48)，還有他113次的三振也排在國聯第
五，最近三次的先發拿下了其中兩勝，近況越來越好。
Webb will be opposed by Mark Hendrickson, who has yet to win since being traded
to the Dodgers a few weeks ago with batterymate Toby Hall. Hendrickson went 4-8
in 13 starts with a 3.81 ERA prior to being traded.
Webb的對手將是交易到躲人隊卻還未開張的Mark Hendrickson，六月底隨著一波交易名單
來還有他的前隊友Toby Hall的，徐在應也因此被換到魔鬼魚，韓德森在交易前共有13次先
發，戰績是4W-8L，防禦率是3.81。
The southpaw pitched well enough to win in his last start but received a
no-decision. Hendrickson went 6 2/3 innings and gave up a run on five hits.
這位左投，上次原本有機會拿下勝投，最後因牛棚放火而無關勝敗，主投6.2局，被敲五支
安打僅失ㄧ分。

Webb is tied with Jason Schmidt for second in the National League in complete
games with three. Webb threw his last one on July 2.
