[農場] BA:Jon Duplantier a 'steal' for D'Backs
Jon Duplantier, rhp, Diamondbacks. Duplantier told BA he’s pitching with a
chip on his shoulder after dropping to the third round in last June’s draft
and that is showing in his performance. The one-time Rice ace pitched six more
scoreless innings Friday for low Class A Kane County in a 5-0 win over Quad
Cities (Astros). Duplantier, who pitching coach Rich Sauveur called a “steal,
” is now 4-0, 0.64 with 54 strikeouts and 11 walks in 42.1 innings.
