Dodgers manager pulls even with McCarthy at 2,126 victories

LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers manager Joe Torre tied Joe McCarthy for seventh place
on the all-time managerial wins list Monday, when he picked up career win No.
2,126 after the Dodgers beat the Phillies, 8-6, at Dodger Stadium.

了McCarthy並列史上第七位。
Torre, in his first year in Los Angeles, has managed for 27 years in the
Majors, taking the helm of the Mets, Braves, Cardinals and, most recently,
the Yankees for the past 12 seasons, in which he won 1,173 games. No manager
owns more playoff victories than Torre's 76.
托瑞在大聯盟執教已達27年，來道奇之前曾經待過大都會、勇士、紅雀及洋基等球隊。
在洋基的12個球季中他獲得了 1,173 場勝利，在季後賽中獲得了 76 場勝利的紀錄更

McCarthy also spent the bulk of his career with the Yankees, whom he managed
to seven World Series in his 16 years with the club from 1931-46. He also led
the Cubs and Red Sox during his 24-year career that ended in 1950.
