1.OF Yasiel Puig was signed by the Dodgers on Friday to a seven-year contract worth a reported $42 million. Puig, a 21-year-old who defected from Cuba, was optioned to rookie league Arizona and will report to the Dodgers' facility at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Ariz., once he arrives in the United States from Mexico City. "To me he's a five-tool player," said assistant general manager Logan White, who compared Puig to a young Sammy Sosa.
