The average age of the corps in 2008 was just above 19. Most of the members are college students and many are or aspire to be music performance majors. To be eligible to participate in the summer of 2010, World Class Vanguard corps members must have reached the age of 18 by June 1, 2010 OR should be completing their senior year of high school by the end of May or beginning of June. High school sophomore and junior students are welcome to attend the audition process, but will only be able to audition for the corps with rare exception. 規定參加的人六月前要滿 18 歲耶! 或是高三課程在六月初前結束是因為很多高中生都來不及參加五月底的camp? 會拖練習進度? 還是這是DCI的新規定呀?? 請大師們幫忙解讀呀 Many of the Vanguard's 150 members are from the Bay Area and most are from California, although we have membership from nearby western, as well as midwestern and eastern states and even Japan, Europe and Taiwan. If English is not your native tongue, it is important to be fairly fluent in English to audition for either Corps, and we expect your English skills to be sufficient to allow for instruction by the time you move in for the spring. 臺灣上榜了耶!! 這幾年頻頻攻擊 SCV 讓他們不得不重視的感覺 XD 之前參加的時候六月初在練習場地的表演團長闡述團員來自各地就有提到Taiwan 真的是瞬間感動了一下不過這邊似乎特別點出英語的問題 XD 難道他們受不了聽不懂 & 不會講英語的人了嗎??? 也是因為會拖團練進度嗎?? 實在非常有趣耶! -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 118.168.96.206
