PRAGUE, March 29 (Reuters) Czech first choice goalkeeper Petr Cech returned to the squad for Wednesday's friendly against Ireland in Dublin after he recovered from an elbow injury sooner than expected. Cech, who moves to Chelsea after the Euro 2004 finals, helped his French side Stade Rennes beat Racing Strasbourg 3-0 away at the weekend. But Czech coach Karel Brueckner will miss experienced attacking midfielder Karel Poborsky with an injured ankle. Libor Sionko from Graz AK, who left Sparta Prague during the winter break after losing his place to Poborsky, will deputise. Also missing is CSKA Moscow's defensive midfielder Jiri Jarosik, who asked to be released to concentrate on fighting for his place at his club which he lost under new coach Artur Jorge. Jarosik was replaced in the national team by Roman Tyce from TSV 1860 Munich. The Czech Republic were drawn with Latvia, Germany and the Netherlands in Group D in the first round of the European Championship finals in June.
