ZAGREB, Oct 1 (Reuters) Croatian coach Otto Baric has included Liverpool midfielder Igor Biscan, Grasshoppers striker Mladen Petric and uncapped Zoran Zekic in his squad for the crucial Euro 2004 Group Eight qualifier against Bulgaria in Zagreb on October 11. Croatia, who need to beat group winners Bulgaria to book a playoff spot, can also call on Juventus defender Igor Tudor and Monaco forward Dado Prso after both recovered from injuries. 'It is a great relief to have both of them completely ready for our decisive game,' Baric said at a news conference. He also said that Biscan, Petric and Zekic had been added to the squad after 'very convincing performances in recent club games'. 'Zekic is top scorer in the Croatian league, while Petric and Biscan have deserved positions in their sides,' Baric added. Croatia, who have 13 points along with Belgium, will be without defenders Stjepan Tomas and Josip Simunic because of suspension, as well as midfielder Niko Kovac. Victory against Bulgaria would guarantee Croatia a playoff place because of their superior head-to-head record with Belgium who play Estonia at home.
