Bookmakers slash David Moyes' odds to be sacked by Everton after a flurry of
bets
Meanwhile, 4/7 is the price for all three promoted sides to avoid relegation

Bookmaker William Hill have slashed David Moyes' odds to be sacked from 20/1
to 7/1 amid reports the Everton manager is likely to face the axe.
Everton currently sit 13th in the Premier League after Saturday’s
disappointing 2-0 defeat away to Stoke City, and due to this result,
speculation has ignited regarding the fragility of Moyes' position at the
club.
“You disregard rumours at your financial peril in volatile markets such as
this,” said William Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
“So we have slashed his odds just in case there is anything in the story.”
Despite guiding Liverpool to an unconvincing win against Bolton on Saturday,
Roy Hodgson remains the bookmaker’s favourite to be the next manager ousted
at 6/4. Mark Hughes runs a close second to be sacked from Fulham at 10/3 and
while West Ham’s form has taken an upturn, William Hill still price Avram
Grant 4/1 for the next boss to face the chop.
On the back of Newcastle United’s seventh win of the season against Wigan
Athletic on Sunday, as well as Blackpool and West Brom’s excellent start to
the campaign, William Hill are offering 4/7 odds of all three promoted teams
to survive the drop this term.

Everton are believed to be interested in making a loan move for Manchester
United striker Federico Macheda.
The Toffees boss David Moyes has been frustrated with his strike force this
season, and has in the past admitted that he needs a forward to bolster his
front line.
And with the Red Devils willing to let their Italian youngster go out on
loan, The Mirror reports that the Toffees are keen on a deal for the teenager.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson recently maintained that the Under-21 Italy
forward would only be loaned out to a club that can guarantee regular
football for the striker.
Inter, Juventus, Fiorentina and Lazio are also thought to be interested in a
move for Macheda.
