Steve McClaren would welcome Alan Shearer's involvement in his coaching
set-up when he takes over as England boss, BBC Sport understands.
Shearer, currently a BBC TV World Cup pundit, has distanced himself from
reports linking him with England, but admitted such a role would be tempting.
"It would interest me in the future and it's very flattering to be linked,
but I haven't heard anything.
Shearer 對於成為英格蘭的教練團隊的一員很有興趣，他感到非常的榮幸，
但是他自己則還沒有接到任何消息。
"It's news to me. I'm enjoying what I'm doing," he told Match of the Day.
McClaren will replace England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson after the World Cup.
The Football Association refused to comment directly on the reports linking
Shearer to the role, but Five Live Sport's Jonathan Legard believes McClaren
would welcome Shearer's involvement.
"Any plans Steve McClaren may or may not have will not be discussed publicly
until after the World Cup," said FA director of communications Adrian
Bevington.
"Sven is the current England manager and our full focus of attention is with
him at the moment."
FA拒絕對於這個消息給予直接的回應，認為Steve McClaren的任何計畫在世界盃結束前
都不應該被公開討論，畢竟現任的教練是易利信，而此時FA的注意力都在他的身上。
The former England captain retired as a player at the end of last season
after a distinguished career with Southampton, Blackburn and Newcastle. He
also scored 30 goals in 63 England internationals
After his retirement, Shearer - who is working as a BBC television pundit at
the World Cup - said he wanted a year out of football and made it clear he
was not interested in the then vacant Newcastle manager job.
It is also understood that the role with England could effectively be
part-time.
這位前英格蘭隊長在63場國際比賽中踢進30球，從上一季退休後，他在BBC擔任世界盃的
球評，他表示自己想要離開足球一年，並且明確的表示他沒有興趣接任當時Newcastle教
練的職位。
同時可以預期的是Shearer在國家教練團隊可能只是兼職。
England skipper David Beckham said: "Alan was a great player to play with and
a great person.
"He's very passionate and one of the best goalscorers I've ever played in the
same team as. But it's only rumours at the moment."
英格蘭現任的隊長Beckham說Shearer是一個傑出的隊友和了不起的人，他對足球有無比的
熱情，而且是他共事過最厲害的得分球員，但是這個消息目前都只是傳言。
