[閒聊] Brad Lidge

After not throwing for a few days, Lidge came in to get some work on Friday
and allowed the first 3 base-runners to reach and score, ultimately on a 3
run HR by Casey Kotchman. He then settled down to strike out 2 of the final
3 batters he faced and close out the game. Lidge has struggled early on with
his BB Rate and an increasing FB Rate, but he's also been impacted by some
horrible luck on Fly Balls with a HR/FB Rate approaching 35%. At this point
I'm willing to write off the increased HR Rate to the poor luck on Fly Balls
and the increased BB Rate to Lidge trying to get his knee right, but the
overall rise in FB旧 allowed is a concern as are the BB for Lidge's success
going forward. The Ks are still there in bunches, so hopefully Lidge can get
the other two categories turned around and start getting some save opps to do
it in.
簡譯:Lidge昨晚的表現糟透了，或是說這一季的表現都不讓人滿意。Lidge今年的BB比跟
飛球比都上升，更慘的是他的FB/HR%是誇張的35%(每三顆飛球就一顆飛出牆外@@)。
因此，就現階段而言，我認為HR比可以歸咎於不幸運，增加的BB比可能是因為他追
求更精準的控球所致。但不管如何，攀升的飛球比搭配上BB就是一個危險的未爆彈。
好消息是Lidge的三振功力還在，希望他可以趕快調整回來。
