Rangers manager Ron Washington said that Frank Francisco will continue to get
save chances along with Neftali Feliz.
"Frankie has the experience," Washington said. "We haven't given up on him.
Tonight was his night. If tomorrow is Frankie's night, we'll put him in
there. We're going to do what we need to do to get three outs. Hopefully
Feliz will be ready but tonight was Frankie's night." Francisco notched his
first save of the season on Tuesday and has a 1.29 ERA over his last seven
outings. Feliz is still considered the primary closer, but he has yet to show
the ability to close in back-to-back games, leaving the door open for
Francisco moving forward. Keep an eye on this situation.
