Jul 6 The Brewers placed Gallardo (oblique) on the disabled list on Tuesday,
the Brewers' official Twitter page reports.
Recommendation: The move will be retroactive to Sunday and Gallardo was
unlikely to pitch again before the All-Star Game anyways, so the DL stint
might only cost him a start or two in the long run.
Doug Davis was activated from the DL to take Gallardo's spot on the roster
and in the rotation.
