Angels RP Fernando Rodney will ply his trade
in the ninth inning the rest of the year
after Los Angeles traded closer Brian Fuentes
to the Twins on Friday. Rodney served as
the setup man for Fuentes this season.
"We feel good about Fernando Rodney in the ninth inning,
" Angels GM Tony Reagins said.
"Brian did his job with us by leading the league
in saves last year and competed well this year.
But we feel good about Fernando closing for us now
and in the future.
