Mariners manager Eric Wedge said that Taijuan Walker is one of the candidates
to start on Friday in Houston.
Advice: The M's need someone after designating Aaron Harang for assignment.
It sounds like Walker is one of a host of candidates, though it's worth
noting that he's on the same schedule as Harang. Wedge indicated that the
club could use a few pitchers to fill out the No. 5 slot for the rest of the
season.
