According to Patrick Mooney of CSNChicago.com, infield prospect Javier Baez
is expected to be in the Cubs' first wave of September callups.
Advice: And it seems very possible that he could position himself for regular
starts at second base. Starlin Castro and Tommy La Stella have been playing
there with Addison Russell recently taking over at shortstop. Baez, 22, is
batting .316/.380/.530 with 13 home runs, 60 RBI, and 17 stolen bases in 67
games this season at the Triple-A level. He'll be worth trying out in most
mixed fantasy leagues.
