The ceremony to bid farewell to the artist will be kept stricly private according to the wishes of the family. As a gesture of mourning, the Fundacio Antoni Tapies will open over two days (Tuesday 7th from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 8th, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.). This is to allow people to freely access the Fundacio, where works by Tapies will be exhibited. A book of remembrance will also be made available so that those who wish to do so can leave their memories and thoughts on the artist.
