Sporting終於在昨天進行了他們的第一場季前友誼賽，
對手是葡丙的Real Massama，
結果是6-1 Sporting勝。

Sporting: Custodio Is New Captain

Custodio is the new Sporting Lisbon Captain for the 2006-7 season, the
midfielder giving his first press conference in the new role in Alcochete
where Paulo Bento's Leaos are deep into pre-season training.
"I feel incredibly proud to be Captain of this team. We're talking about
Sporting, not just any other club", stressed a visibly elated Custodio.
"Winning the league [currently held by FC Porto] and the Taca [Cup; also in
the hands of Co Adriaanse's Dragons] are our targets in Portugal, but we
also want to put a good show on in the Champions League", added the new boss.
Goalkeeper Ricardo – who may be on the verge of leaving if a succulent offer
reflects his good World Cup performance – and midfielder Joao Moutinho will
be the reserve Captains despite the return of ex-Captain Pedro Barbosa to
Alvalade.
