Couceiro accepts Portugal position

Portugal have appointed Jose Couceiro to lead them in the 2006/07 UEFA
European Under-21 Championship.
葡萄牙已經任命Jose Couceiro率隊參加2006／07的U-21歐錦賽。
'Feel proud'
The 43-year-old will succeed Agostinho Oliveira with the aim being to guide
the country to next year's finals in the Netherlands, after their
disappointment as hosts of this year's event when they failed to get beyond
the group stage. "I feel proud to work on behalf of Portuguese football and
specially the national teams," Couceiro said after agreeing a two-year
contract. He has previously worked at FC Alverca, Vitoria FC, FC Porto and
CF Os Belenenses, having joined the latter club last October.
這位43歲的教頭將接任Agostinho Oliveira的位置，
在今年的U-21歐錦賽無法在主場從小組賽出線後，
他的目標首先是帶領球隊打進明年在荷蘭舉辦的U-21歐錦賽決賽圈。
Couceiro在同意二年的合約之後說：
「我很驕傲能夠代表葡萄牙足球工作，特別是國家隊。」
之前他曾執教過FC Alverca、Vitoria FC、FC Porto，去年十月加入CF Os Belenenses。
