Benfica were forced to field a team of circumstances with four of the habitual
first eleven – Rui Costa, Manu, Petit and Nuno Gomes – out of action, but
although the stand-ins showed just why they are stand-ins, Luisao managed to
net the only goal of the game and give the Encarnados a much-needed win.
Simao got the first good shot on target almost 20 minutes into the match, and
Alonso replied with a stinging shot that brought the best out of alert Quim.
Just as the visitors seemed to be settling into Da Luz, Luisao (29 min)
pounced on a Diego Benaglio error and scored.
Nacional didn't just roll over and die; Alonso causing the stands minor heart
flutters with an effort that skidded off a beaten Quim's woodwork but didn't
go in. The second half was marked by the sending off of Madeira midfielder
Cleber, hamstringing any attempts at a comeback.
Benfica really should have killed the game off quickly, but their marksmanship
is atrocious and Nacional almost managed to come back from dead-ball
situations. To widespread local relief this was not to be and Benfica earned
their first three points of the 2006-7 season.

但我覺得第一段寫的有點囧的感覺 Orz
「儘管替身們證明了為什麼他們只是替身，
但是Luisao還是進了全場比賽的唯一一球，幫助Benfica拿下這場很需要贏的比賽。」
