Sporting Lisbon midfielder João Moutinho was left rather cold by the slim
victory that Bayern Munich earned at Alvalade. A lone Schweinsteiger goal –
the Roten man would later be sent off at the start of the first half –
enabled the visitors to reap their third win in a row.
"We've got to congratulate Bayern on the win, but all of us – and them – are
aware that they simply weren't stronger or better than us", he explained.
"Inter [Milan] won but they're still behind us", he added, referring to the
Nerazzurri win over Spartak Moscow.
我們恭喜Bayern贏得勝利，但是我們和他們都知道他們表現得並不比我們強。
Inter贏了，不過他們還排在我們後面。
"We're still well in the running to go through, but now it's time to switch
our focus to domestic competition. Then we can come back to the Champions
League action and work as hard as tonight, but hopefully with more luck",
Moutinho stressed.
我們仍然有出線的希望，但是現在要先將焦點放在國內賽事。
然後再繼續回來歐冠賽場，和今晚一樣努力，但希望會更幸運些。
He was also sure that, despite the defeat, Sporting players and fans can be
pleased with the performance. "We played an excellent match and the only real
negative point was that we were unable to convert any of the opportunities
that we created", concluded the young midfielder.
我們打了一場出色的比賽，就是沒能把機會化為進球。
