Jesualdo Ferreira延長一年合約到2008年夏天。 Extended deal The coach, who succeeded Co Adriaanse in August, was initially tied to the club until next summer but he has agreed to spend another 12 months at the Estadio do Dragao, where president Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa wanted a longer-term commitment with the 60-year-old. Top spot Ferreira made his name with Porto's Liga rivals SL Benfica, where he was assistant coach and then head coach from the beginning of 2001/02 until the start of the following season. He subsequently led SC Braga into Europe during a three-year spell there, before briefly taking charge at Boavista FC this summer from where he defected to Porto. Last season, he scored ten goals in 30 Liga matches and, this time around, has struck two in the nine matches to date.
