The top four teams in the ATP Doubles Race are all in contention to claim
year-end No. 1 honors at Tennis Masters Cup Doubles in Houston. America's
Bryan brothers, Bob and Mike, and the team of Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi
are the front runners for No. 1 and are separated by just 24 points.

Bob Bryan/Mike Bryan
The Californian twins (pictured above) won their first Grand Slam title at
Roland Garros in June and have been to the semifinals or better of three
Tennis Masters Series tournaments this season. This high-octane duo also
has impressive head-to-head records against the big teams.
2003 titles: Barcelona, Roland Garros, Nottingham, Cincinnati
Mahesh Bhupathi/Max Mirnyi
The team won five titles in 2003, including Tennis Masters Monte-Carlo and
Tennis Masters Madrid. Mirnyi, nicknamed "The Beast," claimed the No. 1
doubles world ranking midway through the season.
2003 titles: Monte-Carlo, Estoril, Montreal, Moscow, Madrid
Jonas Bjorkman/Todd Woodbridge
Bjorkman and Woodbridge successfully defended their Wimbledon doubles title
in July, marking Woodbridge's record eighth Wimbledon men's doubles title.
By winning the US Open, Woodbridge moved to 77 career doubles titles. The
Australian equaled Tom Okker's Open era record of 78 titles when he won
Stockholm with Bjorkman in October.
2003 titles: Halle, Wimbledon, US Open, Stockholm
Mark Knowles/Daniel Nestor
The runaway ATP Doubles Race champions of 2002 have won six titles in 2003 -
including Tennis Masters Series Hamburg - and reached the final of the
Australian Open.
2003 titles: Memphis, Acapulco, Houston, Hamburg, London, Basel
Wayne Arthurs/Paul Hanley
The Australians won four titles in their second full season together,
including Tennis Masters Series titles in Rome and Paris (defeating
Llodra/Santoro in both finals).
2003 titles: Rotterdam, Rome, Shanghai, Paris
Michael Llodra/Fabrice Santoro
The French pair won the Australian Open title in January, avenging their
loss the previous year to Knowles/Nestor. They reached Tennis Masters
Series finals in Monte Carlo, Rome and Paris.
2003 title: Australian Open
Martin Damm/Cyril Suk
Damm, 31, and Suk, 36, are the veterans of the ATP doubles circuit, but remain
a highly-effective duo. They won three titles this season and Suk qualified
for the doubles championship for the seventh time.
2003 titles: Doha, 's-Hertogenbosch, Kitzbuhel
Gaston Etlis/Martin Rodriguez
The Argentine duo has made five semifinals in 2003, including at the
Australian Open. They claimed the eighth and final playing berth when
David Rikl and Leander Paes withdrew from the tournament due to Paes'
recent illness.
2003 titles: -
Wayne Black/Kevin Ullyett (Alternate team)
The Zimbabwean duo made a late-season charge towards Houston and eventually
claimed the alternate spot. The 2001 US Open doubles champions won the Munich
title and reached three other finals.
