2003 IN REVIEW The Frenchman compiled his best results in doubles with countryman Fabrice Santoro as they compiled a 34-13 match record and finished No. 5 in ATP Team Race standings... The duo posted a 1-5 record in finals, but their lone title came at Australian Open where they defeated Knowles-Nestor in a rematch of 2002 final... Played well during European clay court circuit with back-to-back runner-up finishes at TMS Monte Carlo (l. to Bhupathi-Mirnyi) and TMS Roma (l. to Arthurs-Hanley)... In next two Grand Slams at Roland Garros and Wimbledon, advanced to 3rd RD in both events... During North American summer hard court circuit, reached QF at TMS Montreal and TMS Cincinnati and SF at US Open (l. to eventual champs Bjorkman-Woodbridge)...
