Lleyton Hewitt admitted Roger Federer can be "nearly unbeatable" ahead of
their Wimbledon semi-final on Friday.
The Australian third seed has lost his last seven matches against the Swiss
top seed and defending champion.
He said: "He doesn't have a lot of big weaknesses out there, but you've got
to try and pin something down."
However, Federer declared: "Lleyton has beaten me enough to believe in his
chance. On grass, I think anything can happen against him."
Hewitt, who still feels he should have been seeded second to reflect his
world ranking and 2002 Wimbledon title, said patience will be a virtue when
he takes to Centre Court at 1300 BST.
"When he's played his best tennis, he's nearly been unbeatable in certain
matches," said the 24-year-old.
He has been the supreme player, especially on grass

"You've got to clean up your service games and wait for your opportunties,
but you're not going to get a whole heap.
"That's where he's gone up in the last couple of years - he's playing the big
points really well."
Despite his recent dominance over Hewitt, Federer's head-to-head record
against him currently stands at 9-8.
But he has not lost to the Australian since Hewitt battled back from two sets
and 5-3 down in their 2003 Davis Cup semi-final encounter.
When asked about that 'famous' defeat, Federer jokingly said: "I don't
remember."
But the Swiss star, chasing his third straight Wimbledon crown, claimed in
all seriousness: "In a way, that match gave me a lot of confidence.
He knows how to win the title - it's a tough match ahead of me

"He beat me on many occasions before that, but I really had the feeling that
I could dominate against Lleyton for the first time.
"I think that's why I could turn the series (between us) around for me."
Hewitt maintains, however, that he has a good chance of levelling that record
to reach his second Wimbledon final.
"You've got to believe in yourself, and I believe I can do it," he said,
adding: "There are little areas where I think I might have a slight
advantage."
Which areas?
"I won't be telling you," said the straight-talking Aussie.
