After the timeout, Peterson nailed the free throw for Montgomery's technical foul, Alston hit a 3-pointer, Araujo scored inside and Eric Williams nailed a 3-pointer to force another Warriors timeout. Then Chris Bosh hit a jumper to cap the 15-0 run. "When they're making every shot and you're not making shots, then ain't really much you can do," said swingman Calbert Cheaney, who made his fourth consecutive start in place of Richardson. "The first four or five minutes of the quarter we were going back and forth. Then we started missing shots and they kept making them. That's when you've got to dig even deeper." But it was clear the Warriors had nothing left. The momentum Toronto gained from the two unfortunate calls and its hot shooting was a current too strong to fight. The low confidence from the lack of recent success was a hurdle too high to clear. The gaping holes in the roster from the injuries were a reality too bleak to face. So the Warriors wilted.
