Just 1:23 into the game against the Lakers at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Ellis turned his ankle after missing a baseline jumper and stepping on a courtside photographer. He limped down the court, hobbled to the bench and, eventually, went to the locker room. The Warriors are listing him as day-to-day with another game against the Lakers on Friday and an outdoor game against Phoenix on Saturday. It's the same ankle that cost Ellis 57 games last season. Also, Kelenna Azubuike -- the Warriors' best player in the preseason lid lifter -- missed the game with a sprained left ankle. He was injured Monday, but was not listed in the pregame notes because the Warriors said he was able to practice Tuesday. Devean George, Ronny Turiaf and C.J.
