[外電] Smart有望成為下一任勇士教練
Not merely temping for the ill Don Nelson, lead assistant Keith Smart is,
however indirectly, getting a tryout to be the next Warriors coach. Smart is
experienced and has long been Nellie's choice as successor upon heading into
Maui retirement, and now Golden State officials are informally using the 10
contests Nelson is scheduled to miss with pneumonia as a read on how Smart
manages games and handles personalities. Although Smart will be a leading
candidate for the permanent job anyway, that much time as the interim can
become a great advantage.
勇士官方已經為老尼訂出至少十場缺陣督軍的計畫。
也就是說，Smart可以善加利用這段過渡時期，讓自己體驗總教練一職，
幹得好的話甚至有機會成為下一任總教練。
