Murray success continues in Mons
Britain's Andy Murray is through to the Ethias Trophy third round in
Belgium. after beating Gregory Carraz 7-5 6-3.
The seventh seed kept cool during a 45-minute blackout and next plays
Belgian second seed Xavier Malisse.
Murray lost his first service game but broke back immediately and again
for 6-5 and then served out for the set.
The second set featured unforced errors by both players, but the Scot
gained the upper hand, breaking for 5-3 and going on to clinch victory.
Murray, 18, is chasing more ranking points at the second-tier Challenger
event following his success at the Thailand Open in Bangkok.
The rising star of British tennis lost in the final to world number one
Roger Federer but rose to number 72 in the ATP world rankings.
