Andy Murray needed only 26 minutes on Friday to complete victory over
Julien Benneteau and book a third-round meeting with Andy Roddick.
The match had been suspended by bad light on Thursday after Benneteau
had fought his way back into the match.
But Murray returned on Friday in commanding form and broke twice to
complete a 7-5 (7-5) 6-4 4-6 6-1 win.
The 19-year-old, in the last 32 for the second year running, will face
twice former finalist Roddick on Saturday.

Murray received criticism from the likes of John McEnroe and Michael
Stich for the way he allowed Benneteau to stay alive in the match by taking
the third set on Thursday.
However the teenager put it down to bad luck.
"I thought I played really well the whole match," he told BBC Sport.
This is the best I've played for the last couple of months

"I just got a bit unlucky at 4-5 in the third when he got a net cord which
just dropped over and that was a bit of a turning point.
"Obviously I would have rather finished it on Thursday but I wanted to come
out today and put a few serves in which I didn't do on Thursday.
"But the rest of my game was good. I think he was nervous and I didn't make
too many mistakes.
"It's a good learning experience for me.
"I started the third set really well and thought I'd done enough at 4-2. But
these guys never stop fighting and are good enough to capitalise on it.
"I came out today and was pretty fired-up and I couldn't have asked for much
more."
Murray completed a satisfying day when he partnered Belgian Kirsten
Flipkens to victory in their first-round mixed doubles match later on Friday.
The teenager had left Wimbledon in disconsolate mood on Thursday evening,
having allowed Benneteau back into the match.
The British number two bounced back from a break down to take each of the
first two sets, but then lost his way in the third after taking a 2-0 lead.
Benneteau seized on Murray's loss of focus and took the third set at the
first opportunity after the teenager netted a forehand.

However, any fears that the 19-year-old might be forced into a fifth set
shoot-out were quickly allayed when the players returned on Friday.
At 1-1, Murray fired a stunning backhand down the line to earn three break
points and converted the second.
Benneteau's spirit, which appeared unbreakable on Thursday, deserted him and
a host of errors allowed Murray to cruise through the set in less than half
an hour.
After shaky patch during the claycourt season, Murray believes he is now
getting back to his best.
"This is the best I've played for the last couple of months," he said.
"I feel like I can go for my shots a lot more and they'll drop in rather than
going two feet out.
"Playing Andy Roddick, is a huge match for me. He's a former finalist, a
former world number one, a Grand Slam champion, so it's an honour to be on
the same court as him.
"Hopefully I'll play one of my best matches so it'll be a good match for the
crowd."
