After playing only sparingly in 28 games through the first three seasons of his career, he became one of Golden State’s most valuable players last season. In 76 games, and all but 11 coming off the bench, he averaged 9.6 ppg and 4.2 rpg in 21.5 minutes per game, shot 47.2% from the field and an incredible 44.4% from three-point range, which ranked him third in the NBA. He was rewarded for his outstanding season with a multi-year contract from the Grizzlies.
