ESPN雜誌每年都會對全美四大聯盟的球隊進行排名，上個禮拜公佈了這個年度的排名。
2010年灰熊是第75名，2011年第9名，2012年第5名，今年則是被排在榜首！
這項評比考量的指標：球隊近年的發展、球隊和球迷的關係、球館的軟硬體設施、球員
和教練的表現……等等因素。

The Memphis Grizzlies today announced that the organization has hired Elston
Turner, Duane Ticknor and Shawn Respert as assistant coaches to join returning
assistant coach Bob Thornton on Grizzlies head coach Dave Joerger’s staff.
Additionally, the Grizzlies have hired Chattin Hill as athletic performance
coach, promoted Jason March to advance scout, promoted Steve Jones to video
coordinator/player development and hired Mark Sanford as assistant video
coordinator/player development.
．訓練營相關消息
據傳 Melvin Ely 可能會是訓練營的一員，還有邀請了在夏季聯賽表現不錯吸引好幾支
球隊注意的 James Nunnally，不過目前確定簽約的只有 Tony Gaffney。
另外，對 Derrick Byars、Terrico White 進行了試訓。
