HANTUCHOVA FORCED SE TO WITHDRAW
Quebec, October 30, 2005 -
Yesterday at the end of the evening, the direction of the WTA informed the
organizing committee of the Bell Challenge, presented by National Banque,
that Daniela Hantuchova 2nd head of series, was forced to withdraw tournament.
A wound with the shoulder makes so that the Slovaque young person will not be
able to take share with the 13th edition of the Bell Challenge.
Obviously, the director of the tournament, Mr Jacques Herisset, was
disappointed withdrawal of the 2nd favorite one "We misons above all on the
balance of the table and the rising star emergence to offer a tournament of
quality. Thus, even if the heads of series cannot be with go because of a
wound, general public is ensured to attend a high level tournament. If one
remembers, it is what we had lived, two years ago, with the arrival in Quebec
of Maria Sharapova ", to conclude the director from the tournament. With the
withdrawal of Hantuchova, it is Marion Bartoli which will occupy the position
of the 2nd head of series.

of the tournament hastened to check the arrival of Mrs. Nathalie Dechy.
Joined on the telephone by Mr. Herisset, it confirmed his arrival in Montreal
whereas it was on the way for Quebec. Mrs. Dechy declared that it was very
happy of her arrival in Quebec and very enthusiastic to take part in the Bell
Challenge.
