Hantuchova, ranked 17th in the world, won both her singles rubbers - losing just six games in the process - as the Slovakians cruised to a whitewash in the play-off clash in Bratislava over the weekend. Now back among the elite, Slovakia will be looking to repeat their success of 2002, when they defeated Spain 3-1 in the final to claim their first title. And Hantuchova is looking forward to competing against the world's leading nations once again. Hantuchova said: "I am happy I helped our team and we are back among the teams we should be (competing against). It was very nice to play in front of our home fans and that helped me a couple of times. "All the opponents are as good as each other from now on. The most important thing is to play at home but I believe Slovakia can repeat the success of 2002." Thailand hardly posed a threat and they failed to win a single set in the entire match. Hantuchova was happy, however, with both her and her team-mates' focus over the weekend. "We had to keep our concentration," she added. "Everybody expected us to win and we were under pressure because of that but we have done it and that is good. "I started nervously against (Montinee) Tangphong on Saturday. My pulse was nearly at 200. It was the first time I had played in this arena (Sibamac Arena) and my friends and family were among the fans. "But everything was okay when I started to concentrate on the match.
