Serena's next foe will be Daniela Hantuchova, who took her down at the Aussie
Open. Hantuchova says she's excited about the challenge and likes the big
occasions. She's feeling much better after one of her ribs was displaced
last week.
Unlike Elena Dementieva, who says that seven-time Slam champ Serena isn't
clearly the best player of her generation, Hantuchova says she is.
"She was the best," Hantuchova said. "She had the biggest serve, the power,
the speed, she was consistent. The year when she was winning all those Grand
Slams titles, if she was playing her best, no one could beat her."
Serena promises a whole different contest than they played Down Under, where
she was admittedly out of shape. "I'm a much better player. I'm not struggling
physically. It's a whole different ball game,” she said.
