Interview by Vicki Hodges 1:08PM GMT 02 Feb 2011 What's been your most extravagant purchase with your career winnings? I bought my mum a car for her birthday. I saw it and brought it in five seconds – it’s a grey Jaguar. What can’t you leave your home/hotel room without…when you’re not on the tennis court so you can’t say racket or kit! My phone and my credit card! If you could trade lives with another sporting star or celebrity who would it be and why? Roger Federer, for the way he is able to play, his technique, and the way he treats people away from the court. Do you have any tattoos or piercings? If no, would you consider having a tattoo and where and what would it be? Not yet – I’m thinking about it, I haven’t decided yet. Hopefully something meaningful, a Chinese character, or maybe a dolphin, since that’s my favourite animal. What or who really gets you wound up and annoyed? I don’t really get annoyed too much by people. I think you can always control the way you react to things. It’s normally me I get annoyed by! You star in a few tennis video games, have you ever played them and are you any good? I played one time and I sucked! I usually play against myself. I played as Roger Federer once and I lost. Surprise! You’ve got an unexpected day off. How are you likely to spend it? Either on the beach, not doing anything, or skiing. What are your targets for 2011? Definitely improving my game and trying to figure out how I can get better after all these years. Then the Olympics is a big goal for me next year, so getting ready for that is a big focus.
