SALT LAKE CITY — The Hawks are still waiting on Boris Diaw.

potential.

Still waiting to see if Diaw, who's playing on the Hawks' summer league
team here at the Rocky Mountain Revue, is willing to work to be the player
they believe he can be. Or if he'll simply be satisfied with a brief and
uneventful stint in the NBA before heading back to the professional ranks
in Europe.

trying to do," Hawks general manager Billy Knight said. "And offensively,
he wants Boris to become more aggressive, shoot the ball when he has shots
and create opportunities for himself and others.

Thus far, Diaw hasn't provided concrete evidence of his intentions either
way. His performances here have been as uneven as his play during his first
two NBA seasons.

Through his first three games here, he averaged just 5.7 points and 2.7

Still, he provided another glimpse of what might be in Tuesday's 78-74 loss
to Seattle. Diaw led the Hawks with 15 points, 11 rebounds, three assists
and two blocks.
不過呢，Diaw在星期二對上Sonics輸球的晚上，還是稍微展現了他驚鴻一瞥的能耐--繳

He did have four of the Hawks' staggering 32 turnovers, which led to 30
points for the Sonics, but he also defended point guards and centers and
played with the occasional recklessness Woodson and his staff have been
begging him to bring to the floor every second of every game.

out.

are the things we know he's capable of doing."
