No move’s a good move By Sekou Smith Thursday, February 23, 2006, 03:50 PM I know this might not be popular around here, but if you’re reading this and there’s no other link on AJC.com about the Hawks making a trade, I think they did the right thing. If you can’t get a sweetheart’s deal at the trade deadline, let it go and work the free agent/trade market in the summer. There was a lot of movement this year but nothing that struck me as a great deal for anyone. Orlando getting Darko Milicic and Carlos Arroyo for Kelvin Cato was about the only deal where I felt like both teams got exactly what they wanted or needed. So the Hawks now turn their attentions to analyzing not only their young nucleus — Joe Johnson, Al Harrington, the Joshes, Marvin Williams, Zaza P. and Salim Stoudamire - but also which players around the league, that if added to that nucleus, will make it more potent. We need to start analyzing that around here, too. Not just what sounds good but what type of players would actually mesh well with what the Hawks already have. We know their needs (bigs and a point guard). It’s a matter now of locating and procuring the players that can fill out the roster. 原文轉載 http://www.ajc.com/blogs/content/shared-blogs/ajc/hawks/index.html -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 59.121.12.131
