I couldn't agree more. That's why I tend to defend BK more than some do around here. I don't think he's all that great. I think all in all he's a pretty average GM. His biggest attribute and his biggest flaw are that he has big cojones. That's how he dares to do a complete rebuild, he dares to draft a project even though a GM looking for job security might not dare. On the downside he comes across like an @ss because he doesn't care what anyone thinks, and sometimes he goes against the grain too much, for instance in not caring at all about drafting forwards over and over and failing to find the right trade to balance the roster. In any event, I can understand HIS thinking in just about every move he's made. The fact that the mistakes have piled up and the gambles haven't paid off mean that it should be about time for him to go. But all in all, he's not a moron like some around here paint him out to be. He's just an average GM who's missed on the studs but also avoided the busts. He did a great job with the cap until last summer, but seems to have mostly blown that too. I would probably give him a C overall. Good overall idea, poor execution. We're still in a much, MUCH better place than we were when he got here, and he's still a 10 times better drafter than his predecessor. If a real GM took over at this point, he'd have a lot to work with. http://www.hawksquawk.net/forums/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number =146385&page=0&view=expanded&sb=5&o=&fpart=#146385 from Lascar78 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.230.31.187
