Justine heads toward Dubai on Thursday after ten days of practice sessions in
Belgium, and Monaco to compete in the Dubai Duty Free Women's Open.
Justine isn't at 100% yet, with a shoulder injury still lingering, but she'll
have 4- 5 days to acclimatize with the mild temperatures of the United Arab
Emirates that range from 25-30 degrees.
This year's Dubai Duty Free Women's Open will not only host the return of the
2003, and 2004 trophy winner Justine, but last year's title holder Lindsay
Davenport. Tennis stars Maria Sharapova, Venus Williams, Serena Williams,
Martina Hingis along with 2004 US Open champ Kuznetsova, 2004 Roland Garros
champ Myskina, top 10 players Petrova, and Schynder will round out the highly
competative draw.
Justine will be seeded at number 3, and will receive a bye. She'll be on
center stage in her first match on Tuesday or Wednesday next week. We'll have
details later on during the week. The draw will be announced this weekend.
